GET INVOLVED

St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) can serve families in need primarily because of the voluntary efforts of hundreds of caring persons in our community. With support from our volunteers we can provide the basic needs aid. We also offer a thorough range of outreach programs that assist people struggling with poverty. See the “Outreach” tab.

CONSIDER BECOMING A SVDP MEMBER OR ONLY VOLUNTEER

Although many of our volunteers help us serve people in need without joining our Society, a core group of 40 some people do serve our conference as local members of the global society These members join together to grow spiritually by providing person- to- person service to our families in need. All services that our members and other volunteers provide through the Society are offered without regard to the religious beliefs, race or gender of those we assist.

Whether you want to make a weekly commitment or spend some hours here and there giving your time, we will work with you to find a match to your interests. Groups looking for volunteer activities are also welcome to contact us to learn more about how to get involved with our organization.

We train our volunteers and give continuing support to their growth in whatever outreach area they choose.
